Red Halo

£500.00

The painted head of a woman somehow survived a fire that destroyed most of the panel. Here it is set in a rich amber border to compliment the red glowing halo.

Description

A framed stained glass panel made with historic glass fragments from Charterhouse School in Godalming. The glass was originally made for the chapel in around 1872 by the London firm of Clayton & Bell. It has survived two fires and has been reinvented into a new work of art in my studio in Farncombe.

The panel measures 18cm x 18cm (framed size 20cm x 20cm x 3cm)
