How endangered is stained glass? Personally, I have never been so busy, but is that because my work is getting better (which it is) or because there are less people offering what I can do?
The old guard are getting, well, old (obviously I don’t count myself in that category yet!). I have been bothering some of them again to help me improve my drawing. There is always room for improvement. I have been through a small forest’s worth of paper and countless pencils and boxes of charcoal over the last three years and I am almost ready to begin on the glass for All Saints Church in Sutton. Just when I think I’ve finished I notice something else that could be better and it is SO much easier to change in the drawing phase.
