Welcome to my ‘brrr, it’s starting to get chilly’ studio update.
Drawing is at the heart of my work. It is there from my first germinating seed of an idea, often on the back of an envelope, through to the final manifestation of paint on glass.
I get quite upset when people say to me that they can’t draw. I had four lovely ladies in the studio last Sunday who all arrived saying exactly that – ‘I haven’t drawn since I was eleven and the art teacher told me I was rubbish,’ was how one of them put it. Well, here are their pieces made in a half-day workshop, and you can decide if they can draw or not.
