The Wine Lovers 2021

I was inspired to make this stained glass panel by the beautiful colours of wine. 

In between lockdowns I travelled to Lamberts in Germany to buy some sheets of mouth-blown glass in colours and textures that aren’t available in this country. The grapes are made with particularly thick slab glass that I was given. I carved into it with a diamond bit to give the surface some depth.

It is dedicated to wine lovers everywhere.

Having finished the stained glass panel I turned my attention to producing a linocut with the same design. It is available in my shop.
