The Lady of Chinthurst 2021

Private commission in Surrey

Made for a beautiful Lutyens designed Arts & Crafts home in Surrey, this window evokes the spirit of the house. It was inspired by Arthur Rackham’s fairytale illustrations and features the oak trees and owls found on Chinthurst Hill. The dress is made from costly gold-pink Lamberts glass. The cow parsley, one of my favourite wildflowers, is engraved on flashed glass.
