Isleworth Heron 2000
The Public Hall in Isleworth was renovated in 2000. The stained glass window is on the first floor in the stairwell. It was commissioned to celebrate the millennium.
At the time my studio was in Isleworth. On a visit to the River Thames for inspiration I saw a heron just asking to be drawn. It was probably the quickest design I ever came up with! It includes the hairy snail found on Isleworth Ait, and boats that are moored there.
