The Volunteers Window 2001-2002

Haslemere Museum, Surrey

Haslemere Museum is a local museum with a strong educational ethos. It has a large garden including a pond. The window was commissioned to celebrate the contribution made to the museum by its many volunteers. Inspiration came from the pond-dipping classes held there. I linked the separate panels with a flowing border inspired by transparent algae.

I was commissioned to make a memorial window for Penny Hollow, a major benefactor of the museum and the Volunteers window, in 2014.
